jump from the toilet into the tub? We did, and of course we flooded the whole place. Got into big trouble for it. We were called the Katzenjammer kids. lol You do remember them don't you from the funny papers?

Yep....filled the tub up to the brim....but I prefered sliding in.....we had one of those old type legged bath-tubs with the steep incline in the back. I could have stayed forever in there.....closest thing to a swimming pool we had. LOL

No, we were not allowed to bring the water level over one-half the depth of the tub! This was because we were on a well system and you would have to prime the well, long before your bath...if you wanted hot water!

So, once "primed", we tried not to run all the hot water out so that each could take a comfortable bath!

Now, as an adult, I have done this a few times just to see what it would feel like to have a full tub! I loved it and I still "treat" myself in the spa tub with deep water and an emptied mind! AWwww!!

I used to fill the bath tub to the brim but never thought of jumping in. Sounds like fun. I do remember the K. kids, well my parents used that expression. Maybe when I get home I'll try that with the bath tub, it does sound fun.

I filled the tub more than once, but didn't jump in. It would still run over when I got in. I wanted to swim in it. I remember the comic strip.

I was restricted to water up to my big toe and not beyond, splash on the floor, you die, and NOW. I used to lie in the tub thinking gee I wish I had big feet. Now I get in and there is always the underlying fear I ain't gonna get out. Lots of bars so that helps. Yep, I remember the Katz kids.

Our tub had a safety overflow preventer. But I never jumped in, not enough water to cushion the jump. I remember the comic strip.

we had one of those tubs with legs and you could fill it up really full, we used to stand on the back edge and jump in, man....what a mess, but we had a lot of fun at bath time.
