Yes I did. I wanted Bobby Riggs to lose just because of his arrogant mouth.

Riggs first beat Margaret Court, then was whipped by King.

He was the ultimate huckster, ever finding ways to promote himself and make money.

I saw both matches.

Yeah I watched it....Riggs KNEW he was going to get his butt whipped going into it. It was all media hype.

Billie's legs were a foot longer than that midget Riggs. She was in better shape and he knew it! That was his last hurrah. Heck, I could have prolly beaten him then .

I do. You gota love Billie jean King for listening to Rigss as obnoxious as he was. I know most of it was for attention but even so. She did alot for the movement, more money for us in the paycheck. wow, we need more times like those.

I was at work, but everyone talked about it for days before the match. We women all said she would win and of course the men said she couldn't. What a thrill for us gals when she won. I did see highlights of the news.
