Since you are asking this you do not have a manual or been able to locate the stamping on the outer engine(clutch)cover. I would call your selling dealer and ask the service department shop foreman. There may be a service bulletin or trick to get all the oil out of the engine/frame(if they still run through it like the 426 did) and the oil strainer as well as the oil filter. If you are wanting to just top it off, you might as well change it. It is a race bike intended for very frequent oil changes to insure the clutch and engine/valve train are adequately lubricated. If memory serves me correctly, you are to check the oil after running it for a moment.
Call the service department. If they wont talk to you then you either did not buy your bike from them or you should buy your next one somewhere else.
Since I take it you bought it used or you would have been instructed on all this as well as supplied a manual, I would buy a manual.
I know all this because until 2003 my job was delivering units to new customers and explaining in specific detail how to start/operate/ and maintain the specific machine purchased. Unfortunately not all dealers employ someone to do this.

um it should say on the engine or in the manual or you can measher what comes out and put that amount in.

Just add it until it is full, as per the owner manual's instructions.
