Most old people's life savings are in their house .. my old Gran paid £2,500 for her house in London in 1957 .. now it's "worth" £350,000 ...

Assuming you have a Mortgage, you ARE saving ... (of course I can't see houses going up 140 times in the next 50 years, however they could easily double every 10 years = 32 times)

Yeah I got conned only once - I bought 3 alloy wheels for my car when I was 16 and like an idiot paid for them and trusted the guy when he said...

"I'll be back with the last two - couldn't fit them in my boot"

LOL!

- Taught me a lesson though. In a way I thank him. Otherwise I may be one of these people who appears on yahoo answers every night with - "Have I won yahoo online lottery? - I got this email....."

We were conned in a Casino. They were running a scam that looked like you were gonna win and by the time we realised it was a trick they had already got our money.

Previous people that had already been tricked in the same way were warning everyone, and the management took a dislike to this . Surprise surprise!!!
