Shawn Michaels is a loyalist to WWE, as it is where he became big and got the respect many in wrestling today desire.
Also, what does he have to prove to anyone in TNA? If Michaels was to jump ship (which would never happen), two things would happen:
-He'd be launched to main-event status there, thus bringing more arguments of WWE "formers" transferring to TNA to become superstars just on name alone
-He would possibly be placed in storylines and rivalries that could bury more young talent.
Does anyone, TNA or WWE fan, want that?

those rumors you observed are untrue. HBK ststed in his farewell speech that he might under no circumstances artwork for all and diverse yet Vince McMahon. And final time I checked when you consider that HBK has been interior the main leagues of expert wrestling he has in basic terms worked for one organization. And that organization is WWE. Shawn did not leap ships while WWE and WCW have been at conflict. And he won't leap ships while WWE and TNA are at conflict. he's dependable to WWE. easy as that.

He is a lifer with Vinnie and will not go with any other organization. He can basically dictate the direction of his character and storylines - which protects his huge ego - and his best buddy just happens to be the guy being groomed to possibly take over stewardship of the business at some point (Vinnie's son-in-law, HHH). HBK would be a fool to leave.

The answer is plain and simple....MONEY. TNA couldnt pay him what he would want, and he wuldnt make as much with merchandice either. In a career that is in its twilight, it would be important to make as much money as he can in his last few pushes he gets.
