It would be way too hard to narrow it down to one!! My Dads parents were a giant rock in my life, all the camping trips, all the times that I cried on their shoulder, no matter what it was, they were there for me and my siblings!! I lost my Grandpa first, the smell of sawdust because he was a carpenter and the smell of cherry pipe tobacco still brings tears to my eyes and yet a smile to my face at the same time!! When I lost my Grandma, I lost my best friend, she was the one that helped get me through the years after my Mom died and I didn't think that I would ever survive it!! I miss the both so much!!

Truthfully, there are TOO many memories funny and sad and boy do I miss them all!!!!I wish my grandparents were still here. They were the best! I guess I would have to say this memory was pretty funny- My parents and grandparents used to play cards and drink a lot with their friends and one time my grandma had bought a big meat and cheese tray for snacks. Of course they were probably half in the bag and their old beagle Dixie came into the kitchen and started helping herself to the tray of food. My grandma shooed her away wiped off the roast beef, ham cheese and whatever else Dixie helped herself to and put the plate out in front of about 10 hungry drunk people!!! That was like 1967 and I still remember that and laugh when I think about it!

My two grandmothers (when the one was still alive), and I went on a trip around TX, and especially near Austin. We were kind of in the ruarl-ish area where it had recently rained and where there was a lot of standing water. One grandmother said to drive through it and we did, and thus got stuck in about 5 feet of water. So my grandparents had to get out and wade to the "shore" on one side, while I scrambled for my life on top of the Lincoln. (The car was flooding..haha). Then one grandparent went for help and a farmer with a tractor came back and towed the car out with me on top of it!! IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING THING EVRR!! :]]

My great-grandmother, actually. This woman was a typical Italian grandma. she loved to cook. It didn't matter if you had just eaten dinner out of her house, if you came to visit, be ready to eat. I had just celebrated my mock trial team winning state championship. I wanted to bring my best friend over (I was trying to date her) to meet "Nanny" as we called her. The woman cooked an amazing pizza for us from scratch but I couldn't eat a bite!
