What song do you think would be cool to hear on the flute? I play, and sometimes I like to play random music, like James Bond theme, Beatles music, etc. Any ideas?

Jethro Tull made the flute a rock instrument. By the way someone answered stairway to heaven. I have that song on flute CD. The CD is 50 versions of the song and even include Dolly Parton version which is fabulous.

California Dreaming, Has a great Flute solo in the middle of it! also Chicago has some songs with flute in them. Edit: also the song R O C K in the usa has a flute solo

Listen to some Marshall Tucker Band Cd's. They used the flute better than any other band I've ever heard.
