hi,....... does anyone own a mid range or high range ASUS laptop.
How does it perform on extreme games like halo etc, and how is the picture quality.
Also,........ is its heat emission,...... low, medium, or high?

Hi. I love HALO. And I have never seen a laptop that does a great job on the graphics. Just my opinion. Most will run hot so I use a breadboard (cheap) to keep the ventilation clear and the heat off my legs.

I have an ASUS G751J for less than 3 months. It's in ASUS service for the 2nd time for warranty repairs. Well the first time was for a warranty repair, the second was because the ASUS tech ruined the deck by etching "activate 8.1" into the deck. So it's going on 3 weeks for the second repair and it's not been repaired yet. ASUS has had the computer about the same amount of time as I have.
Bottom line, their service is horrible and unbelievably slow. This was my first and last ASUS.
