At what point is the value of human life more important than killing a few "suspected" insurgents because you can't wait for a more opportune time?

And doesn't "suspected terrorists" mean they think they might be insurgents. So we are killing people and blowing stuff up over speculation of terror these days?

Man - this is complete madness.

Kill everyone in Iraq as long as we make a point to a few hundred al-Qaida members

Where is the morality.

And I have to ask - Was Blackwater involved?

Morality is not on the list of guidelines when it comes to waging war with terrorists. Terrorism has redefined the term "war". When Hitler sent missles into England during World War II, were those missles aimed at military targets? No. When the Japanese invaded the Philippines during World War II, did they only target the military? No. Thousands of innocent people lost their lives. We tried to wage a "moral" war in Vietnam against a foe that hid among civilians and waged "immoral" war. Do terrorists deliberately hide in the midst of civilians? Yes. Can we wage a "moral" war against terrorists while they wage an "immoral" war against us? No. Your statement about killing everyone in Iraq is misguided. Al-Quaida has killed thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians on purpose and continues to do so. We don't kill civilians on purpose.

i like your idea to kill everyone in Iraq. Honestly, it is war. Choices are hard, and killing a few innocent people is better than what 19 insurgents will kill. You have to weigh them out. And you are being over critical of the work suspected, what do you want to do to be for sure? While they have a bomb on their chest blowing something up?

Suspected is the key word.
Blackwater innocent until proven guilty.
Random Iraqis Al-Queda until proven random Iraqis but will be reported in the news as dead terrorists if killed during the validation procedure.

Comparing what happens in Iraq to normal is like saying George Bush is a member of Mensa - an impossibility.

If you are looking for morality here, you are looking in the wrong place. War, especially that ones that are wars of choice do not care about morality. In this case they just care about keeping the output of the military industrial complex of the US running at max before the next sane US president and the next sane US Congress and Senate put and end to this nonsense.

Yes, it's called "War".If our men could do this without hurting any innocents, they would . It can't be done.Do you think they care about hurting innocent people? Remember November 11 ? Believe me, our men would much rather be at home with their families watching a good comedy on TV, but they are over there to make sure we don't have another Nov/11. From any country.

The gov't has to involve people like blackwater, because the people with any sense are not re-enlisting or enlisting in the first place!

War is Hell....this is WAR.....Terrorists who blew up buildings and murderers hiding behind a freakish religion are involved. 3000 dead Americans are worth killing these terrorists at ALL costs.
