Honestly, I can't think of a lie I told my parents. I was a pretty good kid. With a strict, military father and a mother with eyes behind her head, you don't lie. The only thing I can think of wasn't actually a lie. My mom told me something very serious about my family that I won't divulge on here, but let's just put it this way, she told me not to let my dad, my sister or my brother know that I knew this family secret. I was only 9 years old. Pretty big burden for a kid to keep, but I did. I questioned her motives for telling me. It wasn't until years later that the truth came out. Needless to say, I wasn't the one who told.

My friend and I (still friends) told our parents that we were spending the night over each others houses. Instead we went to a party. When we got back we were going to sneak into her window, but all the lights were on at her apt at 3:00 am. All the lights were on at my parents apt too. So we peeked through the gate and could see her mom and my mom talking with each other. They were laughing and having a good time, so we walked in. When we did my mom said in a nice sweet scary voice - get your stuff. I did! Needless to say I never did that again. :)

"I mailed the house payment/ car payment yesterday!!!"--- Then, I'd go out to my car and find it laying in the back seat; and i'd have to speed over to the post office and mail it because I just forgot!

"There isnt any school tomorrow. It's a staff development day."--- High school days

"I thought that I still had minutes and text messaging was free!"--- I managed to rack up $800.oo phone bill 2 months in a row. My dad had showed me the bill the previous month and said no more text... but i forgot! So when the next bill came... i forgot again!

Been too many moons ago.. Being an only child I think I told enough for 50 kids. I cant remember the worst one i ever told. If I can remember that far back you will be the first to tell it too.LOL

No, I am not smoking :-) Also, I had been sneaking out every night for a week straight & when I got caught the last night my mom asked me if it was the first time I had done it, I said yes :-)

i told my mum and dad that my mate had died and i kept seeing his face everywhere, i then invited him up to my parents for a weekend and at first i got him to just walk by the house then past my dad and then to start talking loudly once they'd gone to bed. eventually he just walked into her work and started wispering her name and jumped out on her. i swear she almost sh#t her pants. we don't talk much anymore.

I blew something up in my kitchen (actually this has happened quite a few times lol) they came home and asked who I said my sister stephanie but they knew it was me I'm the only that does those stupid things! :)
