Sigghh...I hate people who don't believe in ghosts, at least accept that this phenomenon is possible!
Best conditions would probably be somewhere which has a reputation of paranormal activity, somewhere quiet and dimly lit. Although some ghosts have been spotted in broad daylight it is often the case spectres only appear at dusk? I think :)

Night or day doesn't seem to matter, they'll show up as they wish, it seems. I've never looked for one, they just happen. No, I'm not a kook. Ghosts do exist because I've seen two, and I'm not about to doubt my own senses. They seem harm-less and quiet, like they don't even know you're there. More amazing than scary. One was at church in daylight, and one was nighttime near a shopping center. Good luck.

Because spirits/souls are all around us, we can call them into visibility by various methods. If you'd like the entity/ghost to be aware that you would like to make contact with them, you can burn candles of various colors to clear the atmosphere so that "you" can see more clearly........White and Lavender/Purple are good colors. Clear crystal quartz will also bring in entities...........
Mirrors will also bring in an entity if you place white candles in your room, turn off all the lights, and stare into the mirror and call the spirit of the person that you may want to contact...
