Today is the day Kelsey Briggs died. She would have been 4 and a half. RIP Kelsey. How would you react if Kelsey was related to you and you heard the sad news?

I don't like to think about small children dying like that. I would probably be not on the computer right now if I knew kelsey briggs. RIP kelsey.

no ~ oh I heard about that girl . Terrible child abuse case.
Fo r those of you who dont know , kelsey died at the age of 3 by a kick to the stomach by her abusive step-father. Despite the childs previous injuries ( including both legs broken at the same time) the court still awarded custody to the mother. This is why it is important to not sit idly by if you feel a child is being abused . Take a stand and report child abuse. If we all do are part in reporting this , no judge can issue custody to an abusive parent. The Kelsey case lacked evidence that the child was being abuse by the step-father and had there been reports by neighbors and others Kelsy wouldnt have been in her mothers care and alive today.

i would cry for a few hours but then i would realize we all have to go sometime and that this was just hers. RIP Kelsey Briggs

I would say a prayer to GOD asking him to look after Kelsey in Heaven, and still be sad, so I would probably be in bed all day

It would be a very sad day for me.I have small children and I can just imagined how sad it would be for any parents who have lost a love one or one of their child.

I had to do a google search to find out who that is. Obviously if she was related to me that would be very sad news, however, about 15,000 people die every day, so I'm not sure what the point is in dwelling on one random death which the media has decided to highlight.
Every day is the anniversary of countless tragedies and miracles, you just don't know about most of them, and the rest haven't happened yet.
