In an unprecedented open letter signed by 138 leading Muslim scholars from every sect of Islam, the Muslims plead with Christian leaders "to come together with us on the common essentials of our two religions."

They just do not understand the separation of church and state. So when soldiers from predominantly Christian nations are fighting wars in Muslim countries, Muslims believe that Christianity is at war with Islam. It is not true. Uh... christians bomb people too. Not with airplanes, though. Most of the countries w/ nukes are christian countries. (I think all of them except Israel and China, and they have long histories of not treating muslims within their own borders very well.)
