Nicole, I don't know what the deal is with George W.
It seems that when it comes to illegal immigration, he acts like someone has a noose over his head, and he can't do the right thing. I did think he merely has bad advisors, but I'm beginning to think that he turns a blind eye because he has so many hispanic-heritage persons in his own household. And he doesn't want to get his family angry with him, so he goes overboard to pacify the immigrants who break the law, especially coddling those of our southern neighbors.
His judgment seems a bit blinded too, in that he appointed a brown-noser like Rick Perry as Governor of Texas. And we have seen how RICK handles the border situation, too, haven't we?
What about Jose Angel Gutierrez, professor, University of Texas, Arlington and founder of the La Raza Unida political party? He's very public about MURDERING citizens of America for their property, specifically mocking the elderly white population. Has George W or Rick Perry made note of this racist idiot who should be charged with conspiracy to commit genocide? WHO is protecting him?????
I think that George W, coupled with Rick Perry (among others, as history will weed out) will eventually pan out to be AMONG the worst governoring persons in recent history. I know the administration of Ulysseus Grant (post Civil War) took center stage of that notoriety in the past century for it's corruption.
I just have to focus on getting some decent politicians in the next national election so that perhaps we can get some issues resolved to the betterment of the US of A.

Maybe he's doing it so Cheney can shoot the Mexican when we catch him sneaking across the border. That would be a lot more fun than just giving him the needle when he's tied up on a bed.

Well, he's certainly not the best president we've had - but he's not the worse either.
Just because you believe something it doesn't make it true.
