Yes, sadly. The 1st link is a petition to make them stop. Pls sighn and the 2nd link is info. The rest are images I found. Its so sad. They call it seal bashing. The last is baisically what seal bashers are doing threw a seals eyes.

It's not a sport as far as I'm concerned, it's commercial hunting of fur seals. Canada still does it. So do some Scandinavian countries.

Yes. It's viewed as a 'Tourist Sport' in Norway. There is also the annual seal hunt in Canada. (see links)

Yes. What wonderful sports we humans are capable of. Why don't they make a sport of beating rapists and murders to death? That would be more fun, and the "victim" would be deserving of it.

There are also charities and organizations that you can sign up for to help wild-life. ^^

Usually the pelts are used for coats and what not, but I believe that the "sport" and the act is illegal in most civilized countries.

it WAS true. now it is banned. it is such A TERRIBLE THING! i hate people who can hurt a cute little fluffy seal! Those people are going to hell, and they will burn. it is such a terrible thing. just horrible. i cried when i found out. i am an animal lover, i just can't understand how people can harm such beautiful creatures.

not that ive heard of but that would be a super mean sport and its illegal and i loveeeeeeeeeeee seals!!!!!!!!!! so anyone that touches a baby seal must deal with me first !!!lol!

It is done, but not as sport. It is done for the pelt or fur in Canada.
