My son does well in math and he has committed to stay on his sports and don't get me wrong school is more important. I also have 3 other children so it is crazy in our house and we can't afford it. Some online games would be nice. He stayed after school to talk to his teacher but she doesn't help him.

How old is he. Could he benefit from the leap frog learning system? Or is he older. If he's older maybe the focus on school rather than activities might help him more. There is also internet help as well. So he doen't have to Go to a tutor! THat way he can do it at home in his own time

Wah! i think of I found out this in 6th grade. a thank you to function and subtract integers..... Subtract is taking away. upload is giving. enable's attempt an occasion. -2 - (-6) = 4 right here you're taking away -6. by utilising taking it away you do away with the take of 6, so which you finally finally end up including 6. Or think of of it this variety because of the fact i might have been a sprint wacko there. -2 - (-6) = 4 think of of it as changing the sign interior the parentheses and then switching to addition. -2 + (+6) = 4 now and lower back human beings choose help on including a unfavourable integer bigger than the variety you're subtracting from. a million - 2 = x -x = 2 - a million -x = a million x = -a million that is a thank you to do it while you're at a loss for words. wish this helped.

Perhaps tutoring should take precedence over these other activities. Are these other activities more important than your son getting a solid foundation in basic arithmetic?

If he has trouble adding and subtracting integers, I think you should buy some arithmetic flash cards and tutor him in basic arithmetic yourself. Thes cards have the problem on one side and the answer on the other. Drill him over and over until he has memorized hings. Then start on multiplication and division, and from there fractions and decimals. You will not be sorry you did and he will get along in school much, much better. All it takes is effort on both your parts.
