I've heard many commercials for haunted houses around here on the radio & it usually says not advised for children under a certain age or pregnant women. I'm not exactly sure why, but I was planning on going to one this year & I'm 15 weeks pregnant, but after hearing that, I think I'll just skip it this year. If you are too worried about it, just call your doctor & ask. Good luck!

It depends on what kind of haunted house. If it's one of the kind where they actually physically chase you then no, don't go. If it's one with lots of crawling around through tunnels and stuff or riding on a ride like a roller coaster then it's probably best skipped. If it's one of the kind where they play the REALLY loud music(like concert loud) then that might stress out your baby as well so I wouldn't suggest that either, but if it's just a normal run of the mill haunted house then go ahead and enjoy!

Just make sure you hold on to someone. I kept near my hubby the whole time incase i stumbled.
Remember that some of these places have floor and/or tunnels that can make you really dizzy or that actually move, and you can catch yourself off balance. Just be aware.
I had a blast and you should too.
And remember, some haunted houses do not let prego woman go in, because of liability, but you should be ok...just cover up the bump.
Have fun!

No. Many haunted attractions advise pregnant women not to participate because the attraction is unsafe or may scare the women so much that they may hurt themselves or the baby (and the owners of the haunted attractions don't want to be held responsible for anything that happens to a woman or her unborn child). Give it another year.

I would say no. Our local haunted houses often have places where you have to crawl and I really don't see a woman as pregnant as you doing that easily. Give it a pass this year.

A friend of mine was 7 months pregnant and went to a haunted house. I assume most ppl will see that you are pregnant and take it easy on you.
There should be no problem with it.

Heck yeah....the only thing that they recommend you don't do is ride roller coasters or anything along the lines that could jar or jam your belly. Getting scared out of your mind should be a normal response to pregnancy...so a haunted house is gonna be tame compared to worrying about labor!! LOL
Have fun!!

I think it should be alright if you are in good health, my doctor advised me I could maintain my same routine (ie workout, diet, work schedule..but with some minor changes ect), the only thing is to WATCH your step..last year I went to an outdoor haunted house and fell on a root!
