Ive tried searching all over google and yet to find a reason why people run away from there homes plz help

It was the days of the hippies and flower children.
"Turn on, tune in, and drop out." Like your parents are the establishment, man and like the establishment is not good, man so you got to turn on to drugs, tune in to music and drop out of society. They ran away to communes where many unrelated people lived together and didn't really accomplish anything.

In the 60's it wasn't considered running away from home. They were mostly just trying to find themselves and wanting to explore the world. Silly because a lot of parents went through a lot of worry and pain. The kids just never really thought.
