No I don't think so. But there was more going on to early Christianity.
We have Pauline Christianity or post Pauline Christianity today but people have different interpretations of what it means to be a Christian and some of those Christians see it different from what the major Christian sects sell.
Edit it is totally fair for this question to be here in GWS because Paul's writings and most of Pauline Christian writings and actions were and still are down on women as full equal human beings..

Perhaps you should move your question to a different catagory and clearly explain your question. Since when did Jesus get blamed for something Paul said? Further more, since when did Paul differ from Jesus' teachings? The fact is, the apostle Peter was one of the first disciples to differ from Christ's teachings in that he refused to eat with gentiles because he was forbidden by Jewish law. Paul wrote him a letter chastising him for being so narrow minded. He reminded him that according to Jesus, we are all the same and that we all need Christ's salvation and forgiveness. How does anything like that differ from or lay blame to Jesus?

First of all this Religion was not Pauls idea at all. Second of all Jesus dose not get blamed by the use of his name.

Regardless of whether it was Jesus or Paul's idea, I don't think it's a crime. I'm pretty confident Christians don't think it's a crime either...They seem pretty happy about it...

We do not discuss religion here, dear. You might want to re-post your question in religion section of YA. That way people will know what you are talking about.

Shouldn't this be in "Religion and Spirituality"? I fail to see how this belongs in "Gender and Women's Studies".
