A school is good to different people for different reasons. Your question is too broad.

What is a "good" school to you? One where you can get a job afterwards? Value - better education for less money? Highly ranked? Best in the field of study you are looking into (e.g. better schools are highly dependent on the major you choose)?

Once you have narrowed down what you mean by "good", you can research those variables and get what you want.

schools are good for different reasons. but the obvious good schools are the ivies

U of pennsylvania i love city life and this university is in philly so of course i love it!
Princeton
Yale
Columbia the best in my opinion bc i love NYC its the best place ever! im living there when im finished with school!
and of course NYU is awesome bc its in NYC as well
and any other ivy league schools and the public ivies like universisty of north carolina at chapel hill.

well, um, different colleges/universities excel in different areas - one might have a program that is known for it's excellence and another for something different altogether. For example if science or medicine is your thing you might want to check out U of Penn or if you like theatre, UCLA has a great program for that....you need to figure out what program you want to study, then decide which colleges/universities have the best for what you want to study. If I might get in a vote, NYU in NYC has great programs in many areas and you are studying in one of best cities in the world, enough said! good luck.
