My last job was at a call centre, and I practically ran out of there screaming after a month. I'm applying for jobs around my university, but the pickings are slim. So I'm focusing on my studies for now.

I have a job, I run a company that supports UNIX/LINUX systems in WI. I have 6 employees and I am on 24/7 call.
So I am online a fair about of time, right now I am eating my lunch.

I am a professor - we set our own hours basically. As long as I cover office hours and classes I am fine. I have book contracts for two texts, write grants, and consult for non-profits for a side line, all which make the computer a necessity. I come on here for a break. I stop in and out.

I'm not a regular but I'm on here enough (more than I probably should be)... I have a job (teaching) and I'm a grad student...I have a lot of time in front of the computer and I come here for procrastination purposes... In fact, when I'm on here I'm probably not doing something I should be doing...

I'm a homemaker, so it probably does seem I'm here 24/7. Still that isn't quite true; sometimes we just take the little things for granted.

If you are trying to look for a job, why are you wasting your time on here?? Not checking out the wanted ads much?

I work at home, btw, so I have mucho ahora to be on the computer.

I work at home and when I get stuck on something I come on Answers for a few minutes. Good question. I have often wondered the same thing. I'm a writer.

I work full time. I am currently out on workmens comp. so I have all the free time in the world to answer these questions and shop online.

My first job was making brakes for cars good pay but crap job, anyway had a mad weekend about 6 months ago and never went back. They only stopped paying me last week which was wicked, I've had a great time hiking, climbing and caving with my mates. Suppose I had better get another job now.
