I have 3 suggestions
For something somewhat traditional but upbeat is There's Michael W. Smith's song: Sing We Now Of Christmas/O Come O Come Emmanuel/Emmanuel
Yes it's 1 song! It's medley that starts off slow and then cressendos into a dramatic upbeat christmas song with a definite contemporary flare... Sure to please ANY crowd.
For something along the Chris Tomlin line... There is Passion (the group Chris Tomlin came from):
O Come Let Us Adore Him (Sacred Revolution Album Version) off the Sacred revolution album.
Matt Redman actuatlly sings it as a worship song and it blends right into another praise song. So it sounds like contemporary worship.
Great if the baptism is right after praise and worship or if your church is into the contemporary worship.
On a funny note.. you could consider Relient K's:
Handel’s Messiah (The Hallelujah Chorus) or Angels We Have Heard on High..
They sound like Rock songs.. It's awesome for a more youth vibe. (They do have a more serious Christmas song called I Celebrate the Day, which is amazing).
Hope that helps!

RE:
Christian Chistmas upbeat songs????
I'm looking for an Christmas upbeat meaningful song to sing in church (Baptism, by the way). I love Chris Tomlin, Vicky beeching, modern kind of songs.
I'm bored of those classic tunes like O holy night, silver bell...etc
Can anyone help me find one(or any website that has these kinda...

There's a couple decent ones on Amy Grant's *FIRST* Christmas album. "Love has Come" and "Emmanuel" are both pretty upbeat. I've TRIED to link them below but I'm at work and can't check them (no sound card)

The song "Mary Did You Know" is very powerful. I would check out the "Wow Christmas" CD. They have a lot of new songs by contemporary bands.

The second link has the song "Mary did you know" on it. Don't be put off the Clay Aiken sings it. It can be done better. :)
