The day my son was born.
The intense joy i felt thru' the pain & exhaustion is something i'll treasure forever. For someone just born, he was really alert & looked right into my eyes & that moment really touched my soul. Hes five now & a little scamp of a sonshine boy!

The greatest day of my life was when i found out my little girl was going to make it as a full term pregnancy ...
Years of misery pain and tears disappeared when we saw the picture and were told everything was working and she was safe ...
I was four months pregnant with her and she was my 8th attempt at ivf ..
I had a still born baby boy before her
Me . .my husband and our son and the doctors are cried with happiness
I look at her now and thank my lucky stars for her .. even though she is a self righteous bossy little madam

Reuniting with my mother. For 35+ years my mother & I had not communicated with each other. This was because of something my daddy did to me which I then told my mother about. Back in those days, 1960's, things like what happened to me were kept quiet and counselling services were not available as they are today.
My mother divorced by dad, but in her heart she blamed me for what happened. This caused a rift between my mother and I.
A year before she passed away she contacted my sister and told her to tell me she wanted to see me. She was in an Assisted Living Center at the time. I went to visit my mother and we discussed what had happened so many years ago. She asked me to forgive her for doubting my story, and I told her that I had forgiven her years ago.
The last time I spoke to my mother was the night before she died in the hospital. I called her and ask her if she would like to listen to a couple songs on a cassette I had of gospel music, recorded by a man in our church. I held the receiver close to the cassette recorder so she could listen. She said that it was the most beautiful music and voice she had ever heard. I told her I would bring her the cassette and recorder the next day so she could listen to all the songs. My sister called me the next morning at 8 a.m. to tell me our mother had passed away.
I thank God so much for working in this situation and allowing my mother & I to enjoy a relationship before she died.
