It's not Global Warming and it's definitely not the end of the world. You have nothing to worry about. You're just experiencing a drought. It's normal for a drought to happen occasionally. I'm from Long Island,NY and we just had torrential rains today which launched off a tornado warning for the county I live in . This was the first rainstorm in almost a month or more. It's will eventually rain soon. There's just high pressure in your area.

Firstly, I wanna know what is "NC" stand for
Well,in any case,it's global warming that has caused such changes.Global warming is the enhanced result of the green house effect.Global warming is caused due to the rise in CO2 levels in the atmosphere, thus making the air hotter, more humid and more polluted..not to mention dangerous as the harmful gases can cause illnesses( lung cancer etc). Secondly, as u may have heard, the ozone layer is disappearing,in the sense that we humans are destroying it....as the ozone layer is developing holes, the UV Rays or UltraViolet rays can penetrate into the earth's atmosphere from the sun.And so bringing more and more eat with it.This increased heat may cause water levels to drain due to 'evaporation'.
