I can't diagram by typing it, but here's what you'd put in a diagram:

It is the subject.
Has been is the verb
Day is the predicate nominative.
A, long, and hot are adjectives modifying day.
Such is an adverb modifying long (and by suggestion, hot).

I was going to give pretty close to Bruce's answer, but I had to weigh in after I stopped laughing. The first two answers to this question are self-explanatory. They don't know what you mean by the question because they are answering with one-letter words, commas in the wrong places and no periods.

The two of you need the answer to this question worse than the questioner!
