When I point with the mouse on the star symbol it says inactive star, what does that mean? If I click on it, it says who starred it, but just pointing to it it says inactive star, any idea what that is?

I understood your question like chara
You can't star your own question, while when you open the question it shows you who starred without let you star. On the other hand you can star other questions even without opening it.
If this is not what you ask for, please explain.

If you asked the question then you cannot star it.Thats one of the rules of Y/A.Other persons can star your questions but you cant star it yourself.That is why you see inactive star when you try to.
You can however star someone elses question.
