All Bb clarinet mouthpieces fit all Bb clarinets, it's just that there are different sizes of mouthpiece (tip opening, lay, etc...) for different player's needs.

Woodwind & Brasswind is a good shop online to buy a mouthpiece from. http://www.wwbw.com/Search/Default.aspx?Ne=2979&N=61+4294900044&cm_mmc=google-_-Clarinet%20Mouthpiece-_-Category-_-clarinet%20mouthpieces&SearchID=1738311

The OEM stock mouthpiece for the Vito is the 2540P

This absolutely outstanding, professional, mouthpiece by Selmer Paris is on a really, truly, good sale. HS* is the model he'd most be used to.

It would be a good idea if you asked his teacher for any ideas about a mouthpiece model to suit his specific needs.

Clarinet mouthpieces are a generic size. The tenon joint will fit any clarinet. Some slight expansion or sanding of the cork may be necessary to make it fit snuggly, but any repairer can do this for a nominal fee.

Yep, try a number of mouthpieces, and maybe a couple of different reeds with them. Any good music store which sells woodwinds will have some. You don't mention the age or standard of your son, but it's not a bad idea for anyone above beginner level to have the mouthpiece that works best for them. The size is generic, but different mouthpieces have slightly different shapes and profiles.

This would be a great opportunity to get your son a better mouthpiece. Vandoran mouthpieces are great and also Lomax mouthpieces. Let him try out a few different mouthpieces and see which one he likes best (most places will let you try out the mouthpieces).

Search your yellow pages for Marshalls music, I think most states have one, also check the place that you bought the clarinet for him.
