It is because of parents that can't follow directions, or choose not to. I have known of parents that will give their children cold medicine just so they can get some sleep at night. It is sad that people will do things like that, but all too real. Now when your baby gets a cold, its off to the dr's office so you can pay a nice bill to get the same thing you used to get over the counter. Parents are still going to overdose. If they can't follow directions on the bottle when they buy it themselves, what makes anyone so sure they will follow the same directions when a Dr has them printed on the label?

The warning has been out since JANUARY of this year. Where has everybody been? I'm glad that they're taking steps now, but the FDA warned about cold medicines for babies months ago.

I just saw that on the news! it's horrible! it's SO scary how things keep getting re-called!
Last night on our local news channel it was talking about Banquet Pot Pies being re-called and then the next night a local mother was on there with her 15 month old daughter who had eaten one of the pot pies the night before and she called the 1-800 number and Banquet said her daughter might have been poisoned!
Last I heard they were on their way to the ER.

This product was recalled due to the fact that stupid parents don't ask their pediatricians how much of a medicine to give their children and they are causing their children to overdose. There is nothing wrong with the medicine though, just the amounts parents are giving their children.

thank you i wonder if regular fever reducer is okay its the only one not recalled ive been giving alot to my baby she got her shots yesterday and has been crying nonstop and running a fever im scared to give her anything with all these recalls. thanks again i will check this site out
