is this paranormal?

after my dad died a few weeks later i was on a bus and a man boarded and sat oppsite me and it was the splitting image of my dad he never looked around he just stared at me. when he got off the bus i looked to see which way he went and he was no where to be seen.i want to know if this is paranormal

First let me say How sorry I am at your loss.Our mind has strange ways of dealing with the loss of a loved one .I have had reports of people who claim to have been visited right after the loss of a person close to them.The reports have been from actual sightings to hearing their named called to smells.Is it paranoraml? I cannot honestly tell you that I do not have enough info to give you that.In my heart I believe that sometimes when a person passes they for some reason or another stay to let others know that they will be ok or to make sure the loved ones they are leaving behind will be ok but like I said this is my personlal belief I think what is important is what you believe the nature of your sighting is, do not let anyone take that from you if you believe that was you father telling you he is ok then keep that dear to your heart a good paranormal investigator can only base his findings on the scientific data he gathers and any one telling you that was a paranormal incident would not be giving you a truthful statement based on the info you gave good luck in your search and my condolences to you

It could be, but at that point you were wishing really hard to see him again. He should have geiven you several signs by now, if he has not then please ask him to and I am sure you will get a few things to tweak your needs. He might make lights go on and off or play with the television, or you will find your self getting up in the middle of the night at a particular time every night during a particular week.... you may smell certain smells associated with him, like pipe smoke, or cookies.... after shave, something he may not have worn since you were little. You will know it is him after a few repeats. :0) My cousin Mary wanted me to verify her presence to her sister after she passed, so every time my cousin Judy would drink this orange juice drink that she had taken from the hospice I would get the smell of oranges (as if someone were peeling an orange right next to me ). i would call Judy and tell her I was smelling oranges , she was in another state. Also the smell of Flowers. Judy was mopping her floor with some floral cleaner when I called her to tell her that I smelled flowers (wondered if I was getting a sign). It happened too many times to be a coincidence. No misses on that one either. My mother left me a piece of an earring that she had not worn in 15 years 3 days after she died. She left it on the bumper of her car, there was no way that could have been placed there by any one at all. No one had touched anything of hers yet. My father caused a piano to play 3 days after he died. He played 5 notes, 3 people besides myself heard it. i tried to translate the music into letters and numbers .... no dice..... never did figure out what those notes meant.

He may have resembled your father, but you're going to make an even stronger connection because you care for your father and he passed away. He looked at you because you were looking at him and because when you sit on a bus you look at the person in front of you. He departed and you didn't see where he went? That doesn't mean he disappeared.

If it was your father, why would he bother resurrecting himself to come and see you and then just sit there and say nothing at all? It's impossible for me to tell, but it appears as if you're trying to make more of this than it really is.

when someone close dies you want to see them again. I know when my Dad died I kept thinking I saw him. I totally believe in the afterlife but do try and look at things logically. When I stayed at my Moms after Dad had been dead several years. We kept hearing someone walk up and down the landing whistling and knocking the doors. No ne else was in the house. and when I lay readin a book and the bed lifted off the floor and started to shake - was very unnerving. I just said out loud please stop you are scaring me and it stopped. Was it my imagination or not - I wont know until die! But if it helpsd us get through the grief of losing someone we love then what harm is it. Hope that helps. It does get easier but it takes a long time and you never stop missing them.

I can't honestly answer that, however I can tell you that a similar thing happened after my grandfather died.I saw a man in a crowd that looked like him, and I burst into tears.The staff I worked with had to take me home I was in such a state.

But why would he appear to you in such an intimidating manner? Why not smile and make you feel at ease? Saying that, I don't know either way if it was paranormal or just coincidental... but whatever you find comfort in I would tend to believe...

This is just an idea I just had...maybe when people die, they find someone who looks like them and guide them to their loved ones to try to send a message of sorts. Just an idea.It might have been a real man. Haven't you ever gone somewhere and said "I don't know what I'm doing here or why I came here! ? I've known people who said that.

I'm not sure what paranormal means exactly, but everything happens for a reason, and you are always where you are supposed to be at any given time. The universe is perfect

i think you see who you want it to be especially in the first few weeks after someone has left you,but then again it could be that person just letting you know their still around,hope you have plenty more nice experiences,x x
