i think theres something wrong with me, im always attracted to guys 30+ years. i like teenage guys too though
could it be maybe because i had a bad relationship with my father? i never really saw him as being a good dad i dont think ive ever said 'i love you' to him.

It is actually very common for women to be attracted to older men. But stick to the guys your age for now. Unfortunatly older men ofter like younger women just for what they can do for them in the bedroom. Wait until you get older (20s at least) before you start pursuing guys 20+years older than you. You may discover as you get older, and guys your age mature, you are more and more attracted to men only a a few yers older than you.

Depends where you live. You mentioned the UK, so if that's the legal age, then you are fine. In the US it's 18, although I've heard 16 is okay if it's 3 years difference... that's kind of crazy and I don't know if I would believe all of that. I would just in the US wait for someone to be 18 if you were going to go for them. But you said you are in the UK and it's legal, so there shouldn't be anything wrong with a 19 y/o dating a 16 y/o Good luck! :)

It doesn't make me worry about you near as much as it makes me concerned about the 30+ year old guys that think you're available.
Older is fine but that's too old for you at your stage of life. 30+ has so many more life experiences than a 16 y/o - no offense. When you get to 30 try to compare yourself to a 16 y/o and see if you can. Better than that, ask the 16 y/o to compare herself to a 30 y/o. I bet she'll say there's not much difference and I bet the 30 y/o you will say Oh yes there is!

i think that is sad but it happens a lot and it probably does have to do with your relationship or lack of with your father. tho you may be attracted... you really shouldn't act on the attractions because there are stiff ramifications for both of you. any 30+ year old who is interested in a 16 year old is a sicko. wait til you are older to date older guys. when i was 16 i dated older-ish guys... but never more than 4 years older than me.

you have what are called "daddy issues." you are looking for a guy to be your dad. it's not healthy. alot of girls have them and they ALWAYS have a relationship with their father that is not a positive one. you DO need to find your dad and get some closure with him. stop chasing these older guys. you deserve soeone you cna live out a LIFE with! not someone who will be ina nursing home when you are in your prime. you will say you hear what I am saying but uyntil you resolve your issues with your father you won't really beleive in it. so find your father and put your ghost of the past to rest. g tell your father you love him. see what he says. if he takks you he doesnt love you or says nothing back, you had a scum bg for a dad nd it's a tough break. if you got a good dad then you goy lucky. if your dad diedm, then make a hournal expressing it all. the point is to get it ALL out! the problenis you are prohjecting your feelings for your dad,m everything you want to tell him, onto these older men and once you have expressed all that you'll be ok, but it in't appropriate because they are so much older and ypou cna get hurt, they are real creeps for wanting to respond to it. it's illegla and immoral. stick to the teenagers for now and go find your dad and work things out with him.

Well all i know is that my dad was abusive to me when i was young and i never got love from him, Now im dating this guy who is 27 yrs old and im only 15.
Being attracted to older guys could mean that your are looking for that kind of love from your dad that you didnt get when i was little. I did that when i first started to like older guys now i just like them. It doesnt mean your mental it just mean you want something more

Your not mental but one thing to remember is that you are 16. When you are 18 you can think this over again and decide if that is what you really want. My boyfriend and I are 20 years different in age and have been together for ten years now.

Sounds like you need some counseling...you may like those guys because you never had much of a father figure...and they fill that void. That said, you are jail bait to guys that are 4 or more years older than you...so unless you want to get them into trouble, leave them alone.

Yes it's a mental problem. Not retarded just confused. Stick with guys close to your age(within a few years). Then you can increase the age limit to within 8yrs.If you choose older than that you have a generation gap.

Mental? No. A little off? Perhaps. As long as you don't act on this while you're still a minor, don't worry about the attraction. It's just fantasy, nothing more.
