Remember the strings on an acoustic guitar....theyre the same as on an electric :~ )

OK...I'm joking, but it's really that easy to learn. There are only 6 strings and two or them are the same. Its no harder than learning the names of six people: E A D G B E.

If you're just starting to learn to play, the fast way to advance is to find a good teacher (like me) and take lessons.

How about making up an acronym for the six strings open -

6 Eddie
5 And
4 Davy
3 Got
2 Big
1 Ears

It isn't practical to do it all the way up the neck but it is one way and anyway, after a few days you will know them by familiarity.

Hi, i just yesterday wrote on my guitar as it is only a cheap one all the strings on the head where the tuning heads are and so that i can remember which fret is which ie which fret will produce which nite i wrote behing the string actually on the fret all over the fretboard and it has improved my playing already, just one day. If yours is an expensive guitar i would buy a cheap one and do this until you can remember yourself.

If you just mean the order of the strings, just come up with a stupid mnemonic to fit E A D G B E, like Even A Dog Gets Bored Eventually!
