For instance you keep hearing Conservative this, Liberal that... You can't turn on the TV "news" (I say that term loosely) without hearing about nooses (No, I don't agree with it and it is wrong to target) and all the vengeful ideas on BOTH sides...But can't you see it is dividing us?

What about how they conveniently say "immigrant" and are trying to cloud the terms with illegal aliens being immigrants, even though they have no right to be here...it is just another way to mislead and divide people.

So, why do we keep letting the elite do this?

Blackjacket... You really trust YOUR LIFE AND LIBERTY to the elite who look at you as something that is nothing more than a serf to them? THAT right there is scary beyond belief! How do you think that they got rich and old money? By scr#wing people like YOU over!

Mystrywomn...we have something that they DON'T. We have the masses which unified can move mountains. Which is why they want everyone at each other's throats.

Because people with money control the media, and controlling this allows control over everything else.

A great example is Ron Paul running for president. The current system can't stand him as a candidate, therefore he's completely marginalized despite winning straw polls and raising more money than some of the so called 'major' candidates that recieve 10 times the news coverage.

Intersting points by Blackjak; In essence it seems we should be greatful for being treated like cattle and also thankful for paying taxes to the elite, who control everything and keep the human race enslaved by the system the elite have in-built to further their own agenda.

What else could we do if they weren't there? We could have fair elections for a start. Have people in power who genuinely wanted to help their fellow man. Have a system where every colour, every race, every sex is equal as a living entity. Money is only so important because they have introduced it to us and have done so since birth with kids 'savers' accounts. We are raised to trust banks, yet how many of us understand how the money system works??? Find out and it will astound you.

We need taxes to maintain the running of the country of course, but not at the level to which we pay now. Every year we hear of surplus amounts running into billions of dollars. I have never met an accountant yet who miscalculates by that amount so why aren't they being fired? If my accountant was so far out with her figures I'd be looking for another one.

Every country is being pushed to breaking point to keep the 'doyen' or cattle class as they refer to us, from looking too closely at what they do. Remeber years ago, dad would work, mum would stay at home. Now both parents have to work, and even then it's a struggle to make ends meet...where did those days go? Life should really not be so difficult. People are so divided because they have to focus on their struggle for survival in paying mortgages and bills etc...all this money goes straight back to the elite...

Blackjak was on the right lines when he said America is not unique with this system, and it was copied. It was copied from England and it stems from the Magna Carta which is taken from the year 1215. However, the main entry for the globe into this system, comes from William the Conqueror who took the English throne in 1066.

An intersting character and one who ruled over his subjects like a despot...raising taxes etc...this is the beginning of our current system.

Who wants a shot at the title???

WILLIAM THE CONQUEROR IS AN ANCESTOR OF EVERY BRITISH MONARCH, AND ALSO GEORGE 'DUBYA' BUSH.

IF THAT DOESN'T OPEN YOUR EYES I DO NOT KNOW WHAT WILL.

Americans don't really buy into the thrust of your question so much as we keep electing (and reelecting) lawyers and bankers to represent us. To my way of thinking, that's asking the fox to guard the henhouse.

For whatever reason, we seen to think that just because a person is a lawyer, banker or a person of otherwise high education, they can make better decisions. That is simply not true.

Having said all that, let me ask, who do you think will be our next president? Romney, super rich. Clinton, rich lawyer. Edwards rich lawyer, Gore, rich lawyer (not running). The rest of the pack are pretty much the same as the ones I've listed. We;re setting ourselves up to do it again.

we are brainwashed by the media. consume consume and consume ; don't leave home without it mentality! wants and needs are mixed up. also we are told that this is the best country in the world by media focusing on the bad things that are happening in the world. we are afraid of change since we are afraid to loose our refrigerator with butter-warmer!i think we have to get a control on public media first before we go further. it should be used as a means of education. when people are educate and no longer possessed by the corporations; their society will change accordingly. societies are mere reflection of it's members! peace

What Truman said was wrong. The President is to represent the Union, not the people. The President is the chief law enforcement officer for the Constitution. People are to be represented in the House of Representatives. All Representatives are to Represent all of the people who either voted for or against them. Truman is one of my favorite leadership examples but he was wrong on that.

let's make this abundantly clear. the rich are coddled and 'protected' because, well, $$$. they got it - we don't. oh, don't get mislead into thinking this is a new thing. no! no! those with the power (translate - cash) have been such for over two hundred years. the powerful, elite and those within have been part of the WASP society. the WASP was and still is the power behind whoever is president. in fact, they are the ones who select those who GET to run for president and other 'up there' positions within the govt. they like it there, the view is spectacular and quite frankly if i was there, yeah, i'd like it and want to stay. nothing and i mean nothing endangers this and if it might, it is quickly is addressed, such as social unrest, economic depression, etc. the usa never enters a war that doesn't benefit THEM and their position. pull them out of where they are is not a good thing right now. i'm no big fan of their position, but i understand their position, their $$$ and most of all, i can't fathom what would replace them. scarey? oh you bet! by the way, they would NEVER divide and/or conquer the usa. in them doing that would divide them, their power and that's not very likey to happen. lighten up and like it or not, we've all prospered by their actions. all aspects of political, social, economic life in america is addressed, controled somewhat, doled out to those in the know and spead out among the masses. and, the usa is not alone. a great many countries in the world are in the same 'boat'. we didn't invent but copied way back in 1788.

The current government is for big business and they need a source of cheap labor. Which the immigrants provide.
In Mexico this same thing happened. The richest man in the world is a Mexican. They have the super rich who own everything and make the average man work for $2. a day.
Barely buys enough food to keep him alive, so he can work another day.
Won't be long and it will be that way here.

Because the average American is ignorant to such concepts. They rather stay busy with their routine and be left alone. Taking responsibility for the world around them is not an option. The elite understand this attitude and take advantage of it. They stream propaganda using the media outlets which they own and run and this conditions the minds of the people who don't question anything.

We as a group are not willing to unite and stop them. Without a large consensus of people not in the elite group it seems impossible.
