Magpies, walking under ladders, black cat crossing your path etc... can/do these things really bring bad/good luck

it's a load of old cobbler's if you ask me. I have bad luck when I don't walk under ladders so I fail to see how walking under one would be any different!!

yes i dont like walking under ladders or black cats wont do it and i hate it when a mirror smashes cos ive always got bad luck

Not any longer. As a child, I was, and it often got in the way of living. Superstition was an unnecessary burden, so it was discarded.

Not really, I used to be very superstitious but I worried myself stupid over it, all superstitions are old wives tales.
