$4 is worth 1.9686 pounds, which you can round to to 1.97, or all the way up to 2 (depending on what you teacher is looking for)

Unfortunately, for you the person above has it right! This means you need the twice as much cash just to equal the amount you're putting in. It is extremely expensive if you're travelling from NA to UK but its fantastic for us to travel there, as the exchange rate is in our favour.
You are best buying as much as you can in NA and buy as little as you can in UK. This will ensure you end up broke on your first couple of days!
