Layton and Ilford are they bad areas???

Question

Thinking to move to London, i'm interesting if Layton or Ilford good or bad areas???
Or what about Dadengham?

They are all not the best areas in London, and certainly a long way short of being the worst.
Ilford is the better of the three. It has better transport connections and a large shopping centre. Dagenham has the largest local authority housing estate in the world and the reduction of production at Fords is making the area poorer and more run down.
Given the choice, I would live in Ilford as first choice and Dagenham as last resort.
