That you do with your partner that brings you closer to each other and reminds you how much you love each other? And I'm not talking about sex!

I have two things:
1. Every time we eat dinner at home we cook together. This is the perfect time for us to talk about our day.
2. Every night, we spoon before going to sleep. It totally relaxes us and we feel so much in love.

We shower together. I know this sounds silly but it's a close, intimate experience. He washes my hair... awww.

We eat at the dinner table together. No matter how interesting the TV, internet or busy we are, that's our sacred time.

Once in a while, we sleep on the floor on the living room. It's great.

We do a lot of same as everyone else but 1 new one we are trying to get closer and healthier is go to the gym together at least 3 nights a week. Nicer to work out on the machine when you have some to talk to!

We usually sit down as a family to dinner every night (it's not too difficult, we only have one kid) and we talk about our day then. Thursdays is our TV time - we love Survivor and CSI so we watch that together and discuss it during the commercials. We have Netflix so we watch a movie or two during the week. Every couple of months, he buys me something for no reason (a special dinner out, flowers, gift card for Starbucks) We also have "status checks" before we go to bed, to talk about any problems, ideas, issues, etc. Also, on Sunday, I let him roll 2 dice and he gets to have whatever he wants for the amount of time he rolled. If he rolls doubles, he gets double time. Every few weeks, he gives me his dice roll. I guess the most important thing we do is kiss each other goodnight before we go to bed and say "I love you". Never miss that.

Most nights, we eat dinner together (be it at home or out), and this is our time to talk and catch up, no matter how busy we'd been during the day.
