I'd rather be here than...
...doing schoolwork.
...aruging with my family.

My room is a quite place which no one disturbs me. My computer is here... so yeah, I like to be here. Computers are cool!

Every time I need to look up something, I turn to my computer. For communication-- the pc. For boredom, my television, music, videos, and pictures-- that's what I have. Probably the most innovative device with a user input you own, who wouldn't want to use it?

The computer used to be a very boring thing to do. There was no internet to entertain them. But now days we have Google search, Myspace, Yahoo email, Yahoo answers, and about 10 thousand more things you can list that you love about the internet. Well, the computer is so addicting becuase once you get a computer, you want to try it out. You begin to see game websites that you like, and you begin to see chating websites you like, and so on. Once you go on it one time you begin to like the thing you discovered more and more and more and more! You then love it soooooo much that you never want to get off and you tell your friends that you had just got a new hobbie. You then end up checking your email every day and playing about 34 games in a few hours.

For one thing-computers are just about everywhere we go. I can access my account from anywhere in the world. That's pretty heady. I get to stay in contact with relatives who live far away without running up a big phone bill. I can do research on a situation that came up in work and be able to go into a meeting with some information to share. I can chat with people from all over the world and share the comments made here in Y/A. I think there would be something wrong if we didnt get addicted to our pcs.

It's a choice, that's why. Anything that creates an obsession can turn into an addiction. A computer is just one of many ways people procrastinate and escape the real world.

It is addictive because with a tap on a key you can go from one topic to another to another continuously, never stopping. You need to train yourself just as you would a habit or any other type of addiction by limiting yourself, say two hours a day. It is what you make it! Just tell yourself to control yourself . . . . . . be strong!

It is addicting, but I never say I am addicted to it ( I actually am) My room is nice and quiet, away from my loudmouth brother who argues with my parents. Hehe, right now I am supposed to be going down for supper.

I am a nerd too, but I like 'creative genius'.

you will possibly have a severe communicate with him. to tell him to by no potential bypass on or to furnish him ultimatums would be undesirable. i comprehend whilst i replaced into married, i might basically bypass on whilst all and sundry is in mattress. possibly you may artwork out something like that. Weekends, possibly carry out a little making plans exterior of the residing house so he won't be tempted. no longer something good comes out of a guy being on the pc each and every of the time. My mom replaced into married to somebody who lived on the pc. I even have by no potential considered something like it. of course, she divorced him because of the fact she felt that she replaced into on my own besides. The exciting element is, shall we by no potential be sure what he replaced into doing. He wasn't finding at porn he replaced into merely downloading stuff all day and all night.

1) we're compulsive communicators
2) most of us have an insatiable appetite to learn about stuff we're interested in
