Yep, but then I am a hick from Texas. I use the term britches quite often.

confident, some human beings reported pants as britches, yet I even have not heard this any further. I purely understand that it may well be nice if the multiple youthful men might hear to this reference, meaning "pull your pants up the place they belong". perhaps the multiple those that placed on their pants so as that they appear like they are falling off might seem somewhat neater and much less like slobs. O.ok. sorry to be severe, yet i'm purely an previous lady without concept of what the way of existence of at present potential.

I have a teen son and I'm always telling him to "pull up your britches!" He hates it when I say britches and he never refers to his own pants as such.

Very often. I think the official spelling should be changed from "breeches" to "britches".

LOL! No, I do not call my pants that, but my great aunt who is 91 years old calls them that.
Also other words I remember growing up that you may remember yourself: ice-box for the refridgerator, the clicker for the remote control, that thingamagig for that doodad over there that goes to that doohickey.
How do I know? Grew up with three generations of women as a child.
