My friend is in bad shape at running back due to injuries and such. He has Sammy Morris, Addai, Fred taylor and Jamal Lewis but now Lewis might be hurt. His receivers, defense, and qbs are strong. Someone has offered him Brandon Jacobs for Ben Watson. Should he do that or try to trade Crayton or Winslow for someone. One guy in our league wouldn't trade Larry Johnson for Watsonand he needs tight ends.

Ben Watson and Kellen Winslow are both top 5 tight ends. If there's a chance of getting Brandon Jacobs and still retaining an elite tight end, you got to do it. When Winslow's bye week comes up, just pick up someone off the waiver wire. You don't have to stack TEs like you do RBs or WRs.

The problem with New England receivers is that Brady chooses a different go-to guy each week or so. For the first couple of weeks, his favorite target was Moss. Last week it was Stallworth and Watson. But, Watson does have at least 1 TD reception in each game this year, even game 1 when he got one ball for 9 yards. But, that was a total of 6 points. Weeks like Watson's last week are going to come around every 2 to 3 weeks, at best.

Jacobs was injured for a couple weeks and, once he came back, he was his old productive self. He's consistent and valuable, and will score decent points every week.

I would make the trade (giving up Watson for Jacobs), especially if I needed RB help. However, he might try to package something where he trades a dog in a stacked position for more help at another weak position. But, this one at face value looks good to me.

I would give up Watson for Jacobs RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe offer someone Watson or Winslow and Crayton for a RB not sharing carries.

I also would never trade LJ for Watson, no matter how bad I needed a TE or how bad LJ did the rest of the year.

If he has Watson and Winslow and someone is offering Brandon Jacobs for Watson, then he should take it. A good RB is going to produce more points than a tight end on a regular basis.

if u have winslow n u dont really trust lewis n morris then its a good trade, however lewis i dont think is hurt too bad plus morris will/does gets goaline touches for the pats so i dont think u really need jacobs but he sure does help............ crayton would be good to move hes spotty n if u can get something good in return then pull trigger........... as for lj yeah i got one of those owners too( i offered marshall-den and foster-car for lj--------- thats why that guy is in last place n im n first)
