Tee shirt and tie? Do they go together??? HMM I don't think so you need a shirt with a collar. But your shoes should match your hem line so with the grey pants black shoes and with the khaki brown.

-for number 1, you will want black the classic black dress shoe, or other darker color dependant on how dark the grey trouser is, on this site they run about a hundred dollars and the people at Macy's (especially ones that are old Marshall fields) will be happy to accommodate you.

-for the second "outfit" you could go several ways
if this a nicer event a pair of leather slip ons (with the back on the sole and no laces) will do you fine and you should be able to get these at macys also in the casual section

BUT, if you want a more casual image go with a pair of creme colored tennis shoes. i would recommend nike or pumas at a footlocker or buy direct from them. www.nike.com or www.puma.com
I hope your worry about getting dressed is over.

Oh dear! Best you listen to the previous answer re the t-shirt and tie situation unless you're an art student in which case you may get away with it for the duration of your course ; - )

For 1 & 2 , I would go with brown shoes. They match both the outfits without drawing attention to your feet and will help make you look pulled together =]
