I'm writing a paper on Family and how it has changed and been impacted during the years... how family became less important ... etc. What do i do? i don't know how to write a research paper...

LOL. I have to write a research paper for my Families Study course as well...What a coincidence!

There are probably different format in writing research paper for different subject, or even for different professor/teacher. But the idea is that you have to research and state your position on a very SPECIFIC aspect of family, with very specific examples/evidences.

For research paper, my teachers always expect me to use the following databases for looking for evidences because they have academic journals, and magazine articles that are more "reliable" than websites like wikipedia.

http://search.ebscohost.com (username: tdsb, password:second)

http://access.gale.com/ontario/secondary.html (password: trillium)

These are VERY good resources for research paper. But be sure to cite them properly in your reference or you'll get caught for plagerism.

There are also many guides online for research paper format.

put in search sociology and then when that is found put on family.
