You didn't say how old you are. But if you are old enough to use a lawn mower. You could go in your neighborhood and ask to cut lawns. It generally pays 35-40 buck for the back and front yards. More for large yards. More to trim hedges. Or if there are no yards you could offer to take trash out for 10 - 15 dollars a week with the money up front. Dog walking also pays between 5-10 bucks per pet a day. raking leaves out of yards is usually 10 dollars a yard (usually the front yard only). washing cars 10.00, trucks 10-15 dollars, cleaning out someone's garage... you could negotiate the fee for that (mine is so full) I'm paying my neighbors son 50 dollars just to haul the big stuff. You could also ask parents, aunts, uncles, grandfolk, and other relatives if they had anything(legal) you could do to make money.

Will would probably buy a book or two and save the rest. Phoenix would almost certainly buy a big bar of this expensive chocolate he likes that he won't use his regular spending money on, but would probably only end up having a bite himself, since he's a sucker when his siblings beg him for anything and would end up sharing with them and his friend. Other than that, I think he'd save a bit and use the remainder to go to the IMAX theatre in the city and have lunch or dinner out with his friends or something along those lines. Kaia would go clothes shopping. Ember would spend it on stuff for her and her sister's pony and maybe a t-shirt for herself, or a Webkinz. Alex would probably split hers between more pony-spoilage and some DVD's and/or CD's. Cam would buy the first thing he sees that catches his fancy.

If you are 10 or over, and strong, you might get your parents to help you watch the obits for a death. After the funeral, there are almost always folks who need help to move stuff out of the deceased's home into a truck for disposal at dump or landfill. If you are old enough to drive and have a truck, you could easily make at least $200 a week, even in a small town, and may come up on some real treasure which the inheritors regard as trash. I know this sounds a bit morbid, but that is often a real need, as many times the deceased has no family living nearby, and those who have come for the funeral do not have time or the proper vehicle to clean out trash.
You could actually start a pretty good little business if you could get references from pastors, priests, etc. and from funeral home personnel.

Knock on the doors of your neighbors, and tell them you are trying to make 50.00. Is there any work that you can do for them to obtain your goal.
Clean anything?
Help with household chores
Mow, rake the lawn
Help plant flowers, etc
wash car
walk dog
Have a yard sale, maybe stuff you do not want anymore, and your parents.
You could also print on a piece of paper, work wanted and
leave in their mailbox with your name and phone number.
Good Luck...and I bet your neighbors will be happy!!
We used to have kids in our neighborhood, quess they are all grown, like my son........sure wish someone would leave me a note in the mailbox or knock on my door.I need yard done. Garage cleaned up, etc, etc.
Congraduations, you are a very wonderful young man.

mowing the grass, offering to do errands for older folk, babysitting. All those type of tasks will help you make your money. Distributing paper/paper route would also be good.
Can ask mom and dad if you can work extra around the house in exchange for money you want. Also, pass out slips to neighbors telling them you will work for so much per hour to do tasks. Dog walking, etc. All helps. Ask mom if it is ok to do these things.

if you live in an apartment this is what me and my son would do: id go with him and put up a flyer at the mailbox for trash services we put our number on it and said a dollar per bag.
youd be suprised how many people called us. id go with him pick up the trash take it to the dumpster and that was it. he made 40 dollars in a week and hes five so you could try that
