my vft is growing new things out of the soil and it is not part of the plant it has one leaf and is growing more does anyone know what it is??????

It is probably a pitcher plant that got mixed in with your VFT. There is no way to know without a picture. Try to be patient and see what it is. Maybe you got lucky and now you have two carnivorous plants. If it turns out to be a weed or grass then no harm. Just pull it out.
