Be careful... smells like the same deal as John Robert Powers and others that lie to you in order to get your money. Check out these other YA Q&As about this company: http://answers.yahoo.com/search/search_result;_ylt=AouCzKRpVVMar3mwBLFKkd0azKIX;_ylv=3?p=nustars
Honestly it doesn't look like the way to go. Consider doing things the right way, hard work and perserverence. To get started, get into classes for acting, dance and private voice lesson. Once you've had that going for a while, audition for theatrical productions. After you've added a few roles to your resume you can audition for student and indie films to add even more to your resume. Use backstage.com & actorsaccess.com If they don't have a lot of info for your area, check your state's film alliances, commissions, etc. Do a websearch for your state name and the word film and search the sites that come up. They often have info on classes, auditions, etc.
Once you have a good amount of training and a solid resume, an agent may give you a shot. Look here for legit agents http://www.sag.org/sagWebApp/application... But don't waste your time sending them your headshot and resume until you have the training and experience because they really won't give you the time of day. Legit agents do not take money from you until you get a job through them. They get 10% of SAG contracts.
good luck!

RE:
has anyone ever heard of NUSTARS.?
I have an audition for them on saturday and I need to know what I need to have when I go. Do I need a small skit to show them, or just simply go there and they'll tell me what I have to do?

Yeah, I went to there seminar. Basically this is training. You will take your pictures with them. It might cost over 2,000 for this private training with Brooke Bundy but after 8 weeks ABC,JMM managment, MTV and Nikolodean managments with be there to audition you. Nustars isnt an agency but they will teach you a lot of neat things.

oh my god i went to nustars, did 2 or 3 classes with them and quit! all i got was shitty headshots on a portfolio on some innacessable website, and they scammed my mom on over 2,000 dollars. this was the end of my acting/singing career since my mom never took me to an audition never again. absolutely breaks my heart. they ******* suck *** i hate them and i hope they all die a miserable death. i m searching the internet for them now but i cant even find the original website. they took everyone s money and vanished.
