Oh! Beauty and the Beast is such a "beautiful" movie! As mentioned before, you can try the library or Netflix, but if that's out, then ask a friend or someone in your neighborhood who has young kids to borrow it. You can even watch it on your laptop so your parents won't get mad at you. BTW I think they are being unreasonable...it's for your school play! Good luck to you and enjoy =)

I seriously doubt that if you need to watch the movie as research for doing your part in the stage production that your parents would say "No" to renting it for $5. Ask them again.
EDIT: Well, you just said right there that you don't "need" to watch the movie. Why did you volunteer your time to the play in the first place if you haven't seen the movie?
Also, you say your parents have said that you have too much studying to do which is why they won't let you rent the movie. OK, if that's so then why are you able to play around on the computer? Get real. Besides, watching movies online for free is illegal.
Just borrow it from a friend if it's that important.
EDIT: So, you HAVE to do something just because it's a "school tradition"? And you're making no sense at all to me. You can play on the internet when you finish your homework, but you can't watch a Disney movie? I also still don't think you've told your parents the exact reason why you want to rent the movie. No parent in their right mind would deny their child $5 and a ride to Blockbuster if they were involved in the school play and doing it for research. I'm sure they'd rather you do that than break the law by downloading it for free.

not easily, Disney has a lot of good qwualities, but they are REALLY serious about protecting their property.
If Blockbuster or Netflix isn't an option, you could try a file sharing program like bit torrent, youcan get ANYTHING through those sooner or later. Just have a VERY up to date antivirus and anti-spyware set of programs running. Thepiratebay.org is your best bet

I think the only way you can watch it online is by the bootleg way. Ha, my friend? He's like the Long John Silver of bootlegging...bootlegged games, bootlegged music, bootlegged movies... It's harder nowadays because of the governent cracking down on it.
I think you have to first download the BitComet program application(look it up), then go to bittorrent.com and search for what you want. Then you can download it or burn it to a disc.

You can probably rent it at the local blockbusters, or maybe check it out at your local library.
