Who do you think will be the starting quarterback this Sunday, will it be David Carr or Vinny Testaverde? I have Steve Smith on my fantasy team and was wondering if I should start him.

If you have someone else, it might be a good idea to hold off on starting Smith until you see how the quarterback situation pans out. Sure, he could be ready to have a big game, but just as likely he could have a couple really bad games without a solid QB throwing to him.

David Carr is no all-star, and who knows what Testaverde will do. Arizona's D has been pretty good lately too.

Carr. Vinny hasnt had a chance to get integrated in the Carolina offense as of yet. I know they wouldnt sign him and then put him in the game straight up...unless something major happened like Carr going down in practice which i don't see happening. I would always have Smith in the starting lineup minus any bye week of course.

David Carr would definitely be the best choice. I'm sure he knows most of the offense by now; plus. at this stage... I would even go so far as to say that he's a better all-around quarterback.

According the ESPN article below, the question is still in the air. I would bet Testiverdi will start since Carr is still in pain, but like previous posters, you'll know by Saturday or early sunday who the starter will be. Probably a last-minute discision.

I think it might be Matt Moore.

David Carr missed practice again today, and is starting to look doubtful.

Vinny just signed, and has had very little time with the playbook.

You of course won't bench Smith, but don't expect him to go off as he normally might with an established QB.

Bummer.

I would start steve smith either way.. Smith is due for a big game, and i like his chances sunday with either qb. Look for him to be the primary dumpoff option. I'm not saying he will go off, but look for 70 yards and a td (again he is bound to beat someone eventually)

With all his up and downs, it extremely is Jake Delhomme. Statistically he leads the franchise and he's been the main in a position in postseason. interior the excellent Bowl he positioned a brilliant combat against a set that seems invincible and located a thank you to attain against a suitable protection (3TD, 0 Int, 3 hundred+ yards)
