Because most American's are close minded and judgmental. It's so true though, people talk about freedom of speech but then they get so bent out of shape when you say something that isn't to their liking.

I'll give you a great example of how people don't tolerate other peoples opinions: I don't believe in Jesus. Shouldn't that be my right as an American to say that? But when (on the rare occasion) I say that to a Christian, they want to yell and scream and condemn me. It's not like I'm telling them 'your stupid to believe in Jesus,' because that would be offensive, rude and disrespectful of me. However, me simply saying 'I don't believe in Jesus' is just my opinion, and I (as everybody else) is entitled to their opinion.

You can pretty much tell me anything and it won't offend me because I've learned to accept that people are not me. I'm me. Your you. We're all the same in the sense that we possess the gift of humanity, however we all think differently because we all had different influences, lives, and interests. Therefore we are going to have different opinions on things and that's okay.

rather, a time IS coming while the american Classicalist voice would be silenced, as grow to be the case with the Jew in 1930's Germany (see Daniel 8, 11; Zechariah 14; Revelation 11). Y'shua gave us a protracted dissertation of the huge image of the area at the instant unfolding (St. Matthew 24, 25). The wars and insurrections that, Y'shua warned us, might precede the taking of liberty are underway; while the roundups start up, the calls for for redress would be falling upon deaf ears, only as interior the years ahead of the announcement of Independence, and only as got here approximately interior the Golden Age of the third Reich. The St. Birgitta Society has been quietly documenting what could o.k. take place during or immediately after the Obama administration, and issues would be particularly grotesque, if the St. Birgitta findings are any clue. quite a few centers earlier run via different Federal agencies have been quietly reassigned to fatherland risk-free practices without fanfare, after ameliorations to cause them to suited as assembly and/or Relocation centers (as much as date from those operated via the conflict Relocation administration in 1942-40 six); in common terms the meant inmate type is unknown..

Some Americans think that they are better than others, they can't take their own medicine, and they make fun of other countries and people that they mindlessly believe are weaker. It happens everywhere, though.I don't love freedom of speech that much and I don't use it against anybody, but others still offend me and some Americans I know.Whenever I see a question or an answer that offends me,I get really pissed off.I don't deserve any of it.
The ones that call all Americans stupid, ugly, and fat really ticks me off and I can't help that. It's always false, wrong, and stereotypical.I'm not like that and that description doesn't fit me.Plus,I'm not right-wing and I don't support the war. Some people don't have any experience with Americans and usually gets it from the media.America gets the worse of it and some of the victims don't deserve it.Then, they like to push their ways on to Americans. They actually think that Americans should speak and spell like them, too.I know this stuff happens everywhere and that it happens on both sides, too.Questions like this one, makes me angry:
"Why are Americans obsessed with the UK?"
Here's my defensive answer that happened to get deleted and no offence to you:
"Should I be?I'm not madly obsessed, but I like the music and the UK's past.I'm not obsessed with myself as some ignorant people love to believe.I don't ask for this and I've never said or done anything bad to anybody. Some people from the UK and other places have false believes about Americans, usually no experience, and are to stupid and heartless to care about the people they victimize.I hate annoying and idiotic people like you, soulless dirt. You deserve what you get."
Sorry, but that question really made my blood boil and the others before it brought it to a point.Yet,I wrongfully get a violation.I'm usually nice, but small things can make me mad.
I'm sure if I posted something offensive about Canada or the UK,I would get the same answers.I don't cause any trouble wih anyone and I haven't offended anyone or have I?
Is it wrong for me to defend myself and post what I think about those offensive people who love to attack me?

I' m not like that so why am I getting beat up?
Excuse me but we are not the country that killed a nun over a cartoon? Or throw a fit and burned down an embassy.
We get mad but we don't blow up our neighbors.
The UK is always having some member of their country fightings.

one of life's little ironies.

We have legal seperation of church and state, yet every prez - and almost all politiicans - are expected to be Christians. Yet in many Commonwealth nations - all theoretically Anglican/Christian to whatever extent - a politicians' religion seems to not really be an issue at all.

I think its just because people hate it when other people point out their flaws. Personally, I think they should suck it up and move on with their lives. When someone says something derogatory to me, I either accept it as something that the majority of my culture is or does or I stand up for myself and beat the hell out of them. People should stand up for what they say or against what others say to them if they have a problem with it.

Freedom of speech doesn't restrict your freedom of having opinions. It's ok to disagree. It's better to agree to just disagree.
