I am working on a couple of papers and am not sure which star formations I want to write about, what are some of your favorites?

Star formations please, not constellations. For example like Witch Head Nebula.

Orion, it's so visible from the northern hemisphere. It's perhaps the easiest constellation to find just look for 3 stars lined in row. Egyptians may have even worshiped and built their pyramids to line up with it.

Ursa Major was the first constellation I learned as a young child (followed by Ursa Minor), so I have a special 'attachment' to them.

Right now, it has to be Orion, followed by Pegasus.
