I have pcos, n both of my ovaries are filled with small cycts. I am not ovulating on my owns, and my cycles WERE extremely long, (48,56,68), this is my 1st month on Metformin and now my cycle is 30days (which I am so happy of), I am ttc#1

I wanted to no, how hard would it be for me to conceive on Metformin with alot of small cycts covering the ovaries?

How would the egg be release if the cycts is blocking it?

If I am taking clomid 100mg and my CM is hosticle should I drop back to 50mg, and do you think I stand a better chance taking the 50mg with metformin?

My dr wants me to stay on clomid but I don't want to because it would be my 5th cycle on it, and I have not ovulated since I was on it, so I don't want it to interfere with the metformin

When do you experience implantation bleeding?
I am having mild lite cramps and light brown AF and my breast are still sore, tender, and my nipples are also hard so how long should this be going on, because I thought pms goes away

If you haven't ovulated on clomid then I guess there is no point in taking it, but you could go up to 150mg which is the highest dose. I have done it too and I have cysts all over my ovaries my bigest is 2cm accross and luckily clomid worked for me. If clomid isn't working you will not ovulate with just metformin alone. I did find that after a couple of cycles on metformin I was in a huge amount of pain for a couple of nights and the Doctor did a scan and all the cysts had burst, but I was ovulating anyway because of the clomid.
Instead of more drugs why don't you ask about having the cysts burnt off or having an ovarian resection? The resection works wonders, they cut a small wedge out of your ovaries and it resets them, the Doctors aren't sure exactly how but it can get rid of the cysts and you can ovulate as soon as next cycle. Same thing with burning off the cysts, a lady had that done here and she was pregnant the cycle after she had it done. So there are a couple of other ways to do the fertility treatment if you are sick of drugs, they can be a bit invasive, but if it works why not.
Not everybody has implantation bleeding and it would be about 7-10 dpo. All the boob soreness and other stuff are probably because of the clomid. Have you done a pregnancy test? Sometimes hard nipples can be because you are pregnant, though I'm not trying to get your hopes up, but Af usually isn't brown bleeding for a few days, it will go red and such.
The egg will grow from another follicle, not from one where there is a cyst, I'd do a pregnancy test and if not pos, then go back to your Doctor and ask about either injectables or ovarian surgery and see what they say.
Good luck.

First off, my heart goes out to you having PCOS :( I know exaxctly what you are going thru as I have it as well and tried to get pregnant for 2 years. The truth is, it is VERY hard to make and release a viable egg every month with PCOS as the small cysts on our ovaries confuse our brain and the release of the necessary hormones for a "normal' cycle. I did Clomid one month then moved onto injectable Gonal -F. If you dont want to do Clomid again you have every right to tell your doctor you dont want to. You should only have done 3 cycles anyway before moving onto something stronger. Ask your doctor about injectable meds and if you have hostile CM than you HAVE to have an insemination. Try a cycle or two on injectable meds and IUI but unfortunately with all those factors it will be a hard road. But TRUST ME it works...and you are already doing the right thing by being PROACTIVE!!!! Good luck to you and sending you tons of babydust. Remember, no matter how many drugs you have to take or whatever you have to go thru its alllll worth it!!!!
