So my boss called me into his office this morning and said one of my coworkers told him I made a lady run away crying yesterday. He said because of our special relationship he wanted to let me know and pretend to deal with it before it got to higher up hotel management.

I told him the lady was just ridiculous and that all I was doing was trying to help her see she should be having a good time not sleeping when in Vegas.

My boss told me it was inappropriate! WTF??? I don't understand what's wrong with people any way I just told him "Go F**K Yourself". He told me no need that's what he kept me around for.

I really don't get it! What did he mean? I can't even try to come up with a comeback when I'm this confused by what he said.

Help what did my boss mean by this?

What he said was highly inappropriate. It's obvious he either wants to have sex with you, or he already is.

As for the lady, you were inappropriate too. It's not your business if she stays in her room in Vegas. Everyone is different. She might be away from home just to have some alone time. Learn to respect the clients' privacy.

It's probably time to look for another job. And next time, keep things professional.

Your boss was serving in the best interest of the company by informing you that your actions towards the lady could have be construed as sexual harassment or creating a hostile work environment. Your intentions are secondary It is what she perceived. Your boss could be sued if he does not address it. He tried to do you a favor behind closed doors by handling it as if he was your friend. You did not appreciate his position and responded in a way that would make him question your ability to deal with people on a professional level. You were more concerned with a comeback than looking for avenues to correct the situation. Grow up. In your boss's eyes, you are either an asset or liability. I suggest you grovel.
